A NEW
CONTEST: Has a Horse Inspired You?
The Angel Animals® Network is dedicated to
helping people discover and benefit from the miraculous powers of animals. Allen
and Linda Anderson promote human-animal companionship. They donate a portion of
proceeds from their work to animal rescue organizations and do fundraising
activities.
The Angel Animals Network (AAN) is
collecting true stories about a horse or horses who have performed exceptional
acts of compassion, protection, healing, courage, or have been part of a
miraculous or mystical experience. These stories should honor the spiritual
connection between humans and horses.
Allen and Linda are authors of Angel
Horses: Divine Messengers of Hope, Angel Dogs with a Mission,
Saying Goodbye to Your Angel Animals, and other books in the popular
Angel Animals series published by New World Library (www.newworldlibrary.com).
Starting May 1, 2008 they are sponsoring a contest and collecting stories for
possible publication in their upcoming book, Angel Horses with a Mission
to be published by New World Library in Fall 2009. All contest
story submissions must be postmarked by October 15, 2008.
The Andersons don’t require that the story
you send for the contest or for inclusion in the book is ready to be published.
Most of the stories they receive are not written by professional authors,
although they welcome those. Their advice is to just write from the heart about
your special experience with a horse. If they select your experience for
possible use in the book, they will get more details by asking you questions
either through e-mail or a telephone interview and helping you draft a story
that can be submitted to their publisher.
